Responsibility
We are dedicated to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place within our sphere of influence.
Compliance with this policy is considered mandatory.
Violations of the policies, standards and procedures will result in corrective action by management.
Etch is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms within its operations and supply chains. This policy outlines our commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct and ensuring compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 of the United Kingdom.
If any employee does not fully understand anything in this policy, they should consult with the persons listed under Responsibility.
The aforementioned persons shall resolve any conflicts arising from this policy.
Senior Management
Senior management is responsible for setting the tone, providing resources, and establishing appropriate procedures to prevent modern slavery within the organization and supply chain.
Employees
All employees must familiarize themselves with this policy, report any concerns, and cooperate with efforts to combat modern slavery.
Suppliers and Contractors
Suppliers and contractors are expected to adhere to the same principles and are required to confirm their compliance with anti-slavery and human trafficking laws.
Etch maintains a zero-tolerance stance towards modern slavery. This includes a commitment to addressing the International Labour Organisation's (ILO) indicators of modern slavery within our supply chain. These indicators include, but are not limited to:
- Use of forced or compulsory labour
- Bonded labour or debt bondage
- Human trafficking
- Child labor
- Deceptive recruitment practices
- Abuse of vulnerable populations
Etch encourages the reporting of any concerns related to modern slavery to senior management. All reports will be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action will be taken.

Although this Policy explicitly covers the responsibilities of staff, it does not cover the matter exclusively. Other Etch policies, standards, and procedures define additional responsibilities. All users are required to read, understand and comply with other policies, standards, and procedures. If any staff member does not fully understand anything in these documents, they should consult with the persons listed under responsibilities. The aforementioned persons shall resolve any conflicts arising from this policy.
