Confused.com is the original price comparison site. It now operates in a fiercely competitive marketplace.
When Telematics technology reached the consumer market it became possible to track a driver’s behaviour using their Smartphone. Confused.com needed to get a new product to market so that customers could record their driving and benefit from discounted insurance premiums.
The product’s functionality was engineered by another team, and we were responsible for the design and branding of the app – matching it with existing touch-points. Driving is an everyday occurrence for most people, so the interface needed to be enjoyable to use and simple to record a journey.
